Honestly, at first I thought it was some kinda weird Latin word for, I dunno, something pretentious. But then I clicked. And… Okay, I’m gonna be real, the website’s a little all over the place. You got the “Buy PRAESIDUS A-11 Spec 2 White Patina Leather” blah blah blah right at the top, which screams “WE SELL WATCHES!” Duh.
But then they get into this whole *thing* about military watches and “untold stories of courage and heroism.” I’m not gonna lie, it’s kinda cheesy, but also kinda… compelling? They’re saying their watches are about more than just telling time, they’re about, like, *remembering* stuff. Patriotism and all that. I guess.
And then there’s the “Who We Are” section that directs you to buying some Tom Rice special edition or something. Tom Rice? Is that a watch? A person? Both? I’m confused. They’re clearly trying to sell me stuff, but they’re also trying to, like, make me feel something? Talk about mixed signals!
And don’t even get me started on the “Acme Clicker 470” section. What even IS that? Is it a watch? A code name? My brain hurts. They mention a “Combat collection” which is apparently true to size at 32mm. Thirty-two milimeters? That’s, like, tiny! My phone is bigger than that! Is that a men’s size? I would have thought it’s more for women… I don’t know! My personal opinion, they could do with a little more clarity.
Oh, and then, randomly, there’s “IWO JIMA 80th” section. Just thrown in there. No context. Just “Praesidus A-11 Type 44 White 32mm quantidade. Adicionar ao carrinho.” Portuguese maybe? I don’t know, and I don’t see any language selector so I’m just guessing. It’s all very… discombobulated. Like someone threw a bunch of random notes in the air and then glued them to a webpage.
