Okay, so I’ve been doing some, uh, “research” (read: falling down a Reddit rabbit hole) about where to buy watches online without getting totally fleeced. It’s a scary world out there, man. You see all these posts about “TheRealReal Fakes” and “chrono24 issues” where they apparently *don’t even care* if you get a fake! Like, seriously?! Makes you wonder if you can trust *anyone* these days.
Anyway, I stumbled across this thread where someone was asking about Princeton Watches. And, like, my first thought was, “Princeton? As in, like, *the* Princeton? Do they even *sell* watches?” (Totally a dumb thought, I know, but cut me some slack, I’m easily distracted).
But yeah, the consensus seems to be… Princeton Watches is legit. One commenter straight-up calls them “an excellent dealer,” and a “Totally reputable” one at that. They even say they’re an AD (Authorized Dealer) for a bunch of brands that are hard to find locally. Which is, like, a HUGE green flag.
Now, here’s where my brain starts to wander (as it tends to do). This whole thing about fakes is just wild. I mean, someone even pointed out that there are *fake Daniel Wellington* watches! Who the heck is going to bother counterfeiting a DW?! It’s like faking a… I don’t know… a bottle of generic water? Bizarre.
Speaking of fakes, it reminds me of this time I almost bought “Dior Sauvage” (which, by the way, smells amazing, but I digress) from Ulta, and it was suspiciously cheap. Like, “too good to be true” cheap. Made me wonder if Ulta was slinging the fake stuff. Thankfully, I did some digging and realized it was probably just a good deal. *Phew*.
Back to Princeton Watches… the fact that someone on Reddit specifically mentioned them in a positive light makes me feel pretty good about them. I mean, sure, you gotta take everything you read online with a grain of salt, but Redditors are usually pretty quick to call out BS, you know?
