First off, did you guys even KNOW there was a *DirectX* repair tool website? It’s like, totally unrelated but the search results just threw that in there. Crazy, right? Like finding a random sock in your dryer that doesn’t belong to anyone in your house. Anyway, back to the topic…
D&G. It’s a brand, obviously. Months, they’ve got names like January, February… pretty standard. I wonder if they ever thought about naming collections after months? A “March” collection, all springy and floral? Okay, maybe not.
I saw some stuff about car license plates, too. Total non-sequitur. But thinking about it, I wonder if D&G designers ever get inspiration from, like, *road signs*? Imagine a dress inspired by a “Yield” sign. Probably not, but hey, a girl can dream. My brain is scattered today, sorry guys.
Then, like, the whole “references” thing. M, J, C, N, D… are those like, secret D&G codes? Or maybe their design process? “Okay team, this season we’re going full ‘J’!” Seriously, who even knows what that means?! Just kidding, it probably stands for magazines, journals and other things.
I mean, sometimes I look at the runway looks and I’m just like, “Huh?” It’s like they threw a bunch of random fabrics and ideas into a blender and hoped for the best. Other times, it’s like, *bam*, pure genius. And honestly, I’m not a fashion expert, so what do I know? Maybe I’m just missing the artistic vision, or maybe some of it’s just objectively… weird.
And the whole “internet” thing, you know? I was trying to find their official website for the runway shows and I ended up on *Baidu* of all places (somehow). It’s like trying to find your keys and ending up in the kitchen. The internet is a weird place.
Oh, and! Speaking of weird, the Windows clipboard thing! Why do I even need to know how to open the clipboard? Unless I’m, like, secretly designing a D&G collection using copy-pasted images from the internet. (Don’t tell anyone, it’s a secret.)
