So, I’ve been doing a little digging, and let me tell you, the gray options are kinda overwhelming. You’ve got, like, a million different shades. Like, where do you even start? The articles I’ve been seeing… well, they’re helpful, but kinda dry, y’know? I wanted to find out what are the must-have shades of gray for Hermes.
Apparently, Etoupe and Etain are HUGE. Like, “adored by many” huge. Which, I get it. They’re classics for a reason. That “white contrast,”? It can elevate any outfit throughout the day. But then you also got these “newer shades” that are popping up, and I’m like, okay, *which* newer shades? Don’t leave me hanging!
And then there’s the Birkin. Of COURSE there’s a gray Birkin. Is there a color Birkin doesn’t come in, seriously? I kinda wanna know the story of Jane Birkin and the creation of the bag in the sky.
Then there’s the Videpoches bag. Okay, I’m gonna be honest, I had to Google that one. It’s cute, I guess? Seems more like a tray than a bag to me, but hey, if it’s Hermès and it’s gray, somebody’s gonna want it, right? It’s got me thinking about what kind of person shops for it.
And the Herbag Zip cabine bag? I saw it on eBay. Lots of listings, which means lots of people wanting to get their hands on one. So, that’s something, I suppose.
