I saw this thing on LTK, which, btw, is basically where all my impulse shopping happens. Blame the influencers, not me! And honestly, the “Wilder Embellished Sling Bag” just *sounded* bougie. Like, “embellished”? Fancy.
Then I saw the price. (checks notes…okay, roughly what I spend on coffee in a week, maybe less?) HUGE difference, and instantly I was like, “Okay, Lululemon WHO?”
Now, is it *exactly* the same? Nah. Prob not. We’re not kidding ourselves here, right? We’re talking dupe, not cloning. But from what I can tell (and I haven’t personally touched a Lululemon belt bag in a hot minute TBH), it *looks* the part. It’s got that similar shape, that, like, practical-but-still-cute vibe, and apparently, stores are just overflowing with them.
I mean, 800+ stores carrying it? 10,000+ styles floating around? My brain is melting just thinking about the options! I’m not sure if those numbers are legit or just marketing hype, but it definitely gives the impression that this thing is *popular*. And, you know, where the masses go, I tend to follow… especially if it involves saving money.
Plus, “embellished” implies something a little extra, a little blingy, maybe? Which, let’s face it, a plain black belt bag can be kinda boring. I’m picturing maybe some studs, or some cool stitching, something to make it stand out a bit. This is just a hunch though, I haven’t *seen* all 10,000 styles yet, give me a break!
